Kokrajhar: BTC Executive Member (EM) for Sports and Youth Welfare department, Daobaisa Boro on December 27, unveiled the jersey of Assam team for 76th National football tournament for Hero Santosh trophy at Bodoland Guest House, in the presence of Secretary of Assam Football Association (AFA) Hemendra Nath Brahma, CHD of Sports and Youth Welfare, BTC and AFA officials.
The State team was given a plain yellow jersey with the Assam Football Association logo.
In an interview with the media, BTC’s EM of Sports, Daobaisa Boro, stated that all preparations for the tournament had been completed for smooth conduct of group-III where Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Goa will play in SAI STC and Kokrajhar District Sports Association (KDSA) playground.
He urged everyone to enjoy the national football trophy.
