Kokrajhar: In an exciting development for the state of Assam, the upcoming Winter Session of the Assam Legislative Assembly is set to take place in the BTC Assembly, Kokrajhar.
The decision to host the session in Kokrajhar aims to facilitate the participation of all 126 MLAs from Assam. The session is scheduled to be held in November 2023.
To ensure a smooth and well-organized session, Assam Legislative Assembly Speaker Biswajit Daimary made a visit on May 15.
During his visit, Speaker Daimary inspected the BTC Legislative Assembly building to evaluate and restructure the seating arrangement.
An important meeting in this regard was held in the presence of BTR chief Pramod Boro and BTC Legislative Council Chairman Katiram Boro.
