Union Minister Sarbanand Sonowal participated in the vibrant celebrations of International Olympic Day held in Dibrugarh.
In his role as the President of the Assam Olympic Association (AOA), Minister Sonowal took charge of crucial meetings aimed at discussing and addressing diverse issues pertaining to the advancement of sports in Assam and fostering the potential of athletes to compete at the top level from the state.
Furthermore, the Minister enthusiastically joined a significant gathering at the Assam Olympic Association’s Mass Jogging event, which formed an integral part of the festivities commemorating Olympic Day.
During this eventful visit, Minister Sonowal also marked the commencement of the vertical extension construction of the Jalan Nagar Stadium situated in Boiragimoth, Dibrugarh.
