The Ministry of Tribal Affairs under the Government of India has announced the opening of online applications for the National Overseas Scholarship Scheme (NOS) for the year 2023-24. This scholarship opportunity is available to Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates who aspire to pursue higher education abroad, specifically at the Masters, Ph.D., and Post-Doctoral Research levels.
With a total of 20 scholarship slots available, interested ST candidates can submit their applications online through the official website at https://overseas.tribal.gov.in/. The application submission deadline is set for July 31, 2023.
