Guwahati: Chief Minister of Assam, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, has launched the Ayushman Asom-Mukhya Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana on May 10th at the Srimanta Sankardev Kalakhetra in Panjabari.
This program, in conjunction with the PM Ayushman Bharat Yojana, will provide a comprehensive insurance cover of ₹5 Lakhs against 1578 procedures in 300 empanelled hospitals to 26 Lakh families in Assam.
The launch of the Ayushman Asom-Mukhya Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana is a commendable effort by the state government to improve the healthcare sector in the state.
