Guwahati: Mrs. Tanu Mashahary has been awarded the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) degree by Gauhati University for her dissertation titled “Use of Stylistics in the short stories of Nilkamal Brahma.”
She conducted her research under the guidance of Prof. Swarna Prabha Chainary from the Department of Bodo, Gauhati University.
She is the daughter of Mr. Bhaskar Mashahary and Mrs. Purnima Mashahary and sister of Mr. Ujjal Mashahary of Village Katajhar, Gobardhana of Baksa District and wife of Mr. Manjit Brahma and mother of Miss Florina Brahma of Village Barshijhar, Panbari of Chirang District.
