The government has taken a significant step in nurturing the aspirations of students in BTR with the introduction of the Bodoland Career Counselling Programme. This pioneering initiative aims to create a robust environment of career awareness and planning, setting the stage for a bright and prosperous future for students in the region.
During the recent Bodoland Career Counsellors’ Meet, Madan Chakraborty and Jebra Ram Uzir, two of the 1200 appointed career counsellors, were seen diligently guiding students from Subankhata High School and Barbari Nehru High School, respectively.
Equipped with resource materials provided by the BTR government, these dedicated counsellors play a pivotal role in shaping students’ career paths.
Under this ambitious programme, each high school, higher secondary school, and Degree College in BTR has been assigned a trained career counsellor. These professionals have been equipped with carefully curated resource materials to effectively guide and inspire talented students.
