Kokrajhar: The Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) party today celebrated 21st BTC Accord Day in the presence of a large crowd at the Bodoland Martyr Cemetery in Debargaon.
The ceremony began in the morning with floral tributes to the statue of Bodofa Upendranath Brahma at the Bodoland Secretariat followed by the raising of the national flag as well as floral tributes to all martyrs at the Bodoland Martyr Cemetery.
The event’s chief guest, BPF Chairperson and Former Chief Executive Member of BTC Hagrama Mahilary, as well as many BPF members, were in attendance.
The historic BTC accord was signed on February 10, 2003 at New Delhi between the Government of India, Government of Assam and former BLT leaders.
