Kokrajhar: BTR government convened a meeting with UNICEF today at the BTC Secretariat in Kokrajhar to discuss ways to strengthen interventions in the field of education in BTR.
The meeting, chaired by BTR CEM Pramod Boro, was attended by Terry Durnnian, Section Chief of Education, UNICEF India, and Aparajita Chaudhary, Education Specialist, UNICEF Assam & NE India, along with several other officials from the BTR government.
During the meeting, it was agreed upon that collective interventions would focus on capacity building of teachers and officials, foundational literacy and numeracy of children, and strategic planning to enhance educational outcomes in schools.
