Kokrajhar: In a remarkable display of collaboration and harmony among the Indian Army, BTC, and Civil Administration, BTC Chief Pramod Boro inaugurated the Officers’ Mess of the 135 Eco Task Force at Bishmuri, Kokrajhar on May 15, 2023.
The ongoing plantation drives led by the 135 Eco Task Force and the esteemed Red Horns Division have yielded highly positive outcomes for our natural ecosystem. The Government of BTR is actively partnering with the 135 Eco Task Force to ensure the preservation of the pristine environment of BTR.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by distinguished individuals including Major General S Murugesan, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 21 Mountain Division in Rangia; Brigadier M Ravi Shankar, Commander of the 107 Mountain Brigade in Tamulpur; Shri Sunand Kumar, Deputy Inspector General (Operations) of CRPF in Bongaigaon; Shri Pushparaj Singh, IPS, Superintendent of Police in Kokrajhar; Shri Suman Mohapatra, Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer and Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests in BTC; Shri Amit Kumar Thakur, Deputy Inspector General (Security Headquarters) in Bongaigaon, along with other senior officials from the Government of BTR.
