In a significant development for the region, BTR CEM Pramod Boro chaired a meeting at the BTC Secretariat Conference Hall on June 22.
The meeting brought together prominent figures, including Shri Mohit Soni, CEO of the Media & Entertainment Sector Skills Council, and other distinguished officials.
The highly productive discussion resulted in the decision to establish an internationally acclaimed Advanced Center of Excellence for Media & Entertainment in BTR. This advanced facility will provide remote working amenities, with a focus on promoting entrepreneurship and improving employment prospects for the youth in BTR.
During the meeting, proposals were also put forth to organize workshops of international standards in the field of Media & Entertainment in BTR.
Furthermore, the possibility of hosting the Bodoland International Film Festival was discussed extensively.
The meeting witnessed the presence of esteemed personalities, including EM SEED Shri Wilson Hasda, Principal Secretary of BTC Shri Anurag Goyal, Advisor SEED Shri Ranjan Baruah, CHD SEED, Secretary SEED, and other senior officials from the Government of BTR.
