Taking a significant step towards fulfilling the Chief Minister’s objective of providing 1 lakh jobs to the youth, Cabinet Minister Urkhao Gwra Brahma distributed appointment letters to 14 newly recruited Rangers in the Department of Soil Conservation.
The ceremony, held on May 30 in the conference room, saw the selected candidates, who were chosen based on merit by the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC), being encouraged to undergo comprehensive training to enhance their skills and fulfill their responsibilities effectively.
During the event, Ravi Shankar Prasad, IAS, Addl. CS, and Smt. Varshaty Das, IAS, Secretary and Director of Soil Conservation, were also present.
The government emphasized the importance of maintaining professionalism and integrity while serving the people of Assam and working diligently for the betterment of the department and the state.
