BTR CEM Pramod Boro, recently met with officials of the Election Commission of India at Hotel Radisson Blu in Guwahati to discuss the process of Delimitation in Assam.
The meeting was attended by several other officials and politicians, including Cabinet Minister Urkhao Gwra Brahma, Deputy CEM Gobinda Ch Basumatary, MLA Lawrence Islary, and others.
During the meeting, Pramod Boro submitted a memorandum to the Election Commission of India, welcoming the process of Delimitation in Assam.
He expressed hope that through this process, all indigenous people and tribes in the region would be adequately represented at the highest levels of democracy and policy-making.
