An interactive discussion took place in Kokrajhar district involving representatives from 138 villages to discuss the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Aadi Adarsh Gram Yojana Scheme.
The scheme aims to transform selected villages into Model Villages by prioritizing those with a 50% tribal population and a minimum of 500 Scheduled Tribe (ST) members.
Representatives from several villages actively participated in the discussion, contributing their insights and recommendations. The fruitful interaction yielded numerous positive suggestions and shed light on pertinent issues that require attention.
The esteemed attendees included prominent figures such as BTR CEM Pramod Boro, Dr. Sunil Kaul (Developmental Adviser, BTR), Smt. Varnali Deka (DC Kokrajhar), Shri JP Brahma (Director of Education, BTC), and several high-ranking officers from the Government of BTR.
