Guwahati: In an effort to strengthen the Indian Armed Forces with the best and brightest talent, the Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma has announced plans to open more Sainik Schools in Assam.
This move is aimed at creating a vibrant ecosystem that will attract the best talent into the Armed Forces.
The Chief Minister held a meeting with the Education Minister Ranoj Pegu and other officials to discuss the plans and the steps that need to be taken to make it a reality.
Taking to his official page, CM Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “To facilitate a vibrant ecosystem for attracting the best talent into our Armed Forces, we’ve decided to open more Sainik Schools in Assam. Held a meeting in this regard with Hon Min Shri @ranojpeguassam & other officials.”
