Nov 6, 2022, Guwahati: Tense conditions along National Road 31 in Bajali district, Assam, after police resort to lathi-charges on Aam Aadmi Party protesters (AAP).
On Sunday, numerous individuals of AAP had staged big agitations in opposition to the toll gate authorities in Golia, Bajali.
According to reports, authorities at the toll booth reportedly attacked the protesters even after the police arrived.
However, many protestors were arrested and the police were seen protecting the authorities at the toll booth.
In particular, the protesters claimed that the Golia toll barrier was illegal and should be demolished.
