BTR CEM Pramod Boro recently conducted a thorough assessment of various ongoing projects and conducted inspections of areas affected by erosion in the Mathanguri constituency. The visit aimed to evaluate the progress of development initiatives and tackle the challenges posed by deterioration in the region.
Accompanied by EM Gautam Das and MCLA Madhab Chetry, BTR Chief Pramod Boro embarked on a visit to multiple locations within the constituency.
The team meticulously inspected several sites, including the reserve land, the Block Education Extension Officer (BEEO) office, the Forest IB, and an incomplete bridge at Belguri.
In addition, the delegation also evaluated the erosion situation at the Barapeta Reserve and inspected the Sukrungbari Health Centre in Sukrungbari.
Moreover, the team visited the erosion-affected sites in Gobardhana, Kalpani, and Alengmari, emphasizing the urgent need for immediate action to address the erosion crisis in these areas.
