Guwahati: Today, Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Guwahati to commence various significant initiatives.
One of the notable highlights of the occasion was the laying of the foundation stone for the National Forensic Sciences University Guwahati campus. The ceremony took place at Srimanta Sankardev Kalakhetra in Panjabari.
Furthermore, the event saw the launch of the Assam Police Seva Setu portal (polcitizen.assam.gov.in). This online platform aims to simplify access to a wide range of policing services for the people of Assam.
Minister Amit Shah also distributed appointment letters to 44,703 deserving youths based on their merit. The appointment letter distribution function took place at the Veterinary College Playground in Khanapara.
Prominent figures such as Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, cabinet ministers, and other dignitaries were present at the event to show their support for these initiatives.
