According to the National Centre for Seismology, a low-density earthquake of 3.5 magnitudes jolted Guwahati on Thursday afternoon.
The earthquake measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale struck at 12.27 p.m. at a depth of 10km.
The epicenter of the quake was 62km Northeast of Guwahati.
