Kokrajhar: BTR CEM Pramod Boro, took an important step towards boosting rural connectivity and infrastructure in the Kokrajhar district by laying the foundation stones for two crucial road projects under the MMUPPNA scheme today.
The first project entails the construction of a road connecting PK Road to Kashipara Molandubi Road, passing through Haribhita and Thanadarpara. Spanning a length of 2.75 kilometers, this road will not only be constructed but also undergo routine maintenance for the next four years.
The second project involves the construction of a 2.30-kilometer road from Simbargaon to Hekaipara West Titaguri. Similar to the first project, this road will also receive routine maintenance for a period of four years.
These road projects form part of a comprehensive plan to strengthen rural connectivity throughout the BTR. By investing in such initiatives, the authorities aim to provide the local population with improved roadways, ultimately boosting economic growth and development in the region.
During the foundation stone-laying ceremony, CEM Pramod Boro was accompanied by MLA Lawrence Islary.
