Tamulpur: A one-day workshop program was organized by the All Bodo Digital Journalists Association in Tamulpur, specifically tailored for Bodo journalists.
The workshop aimed to achieve several key objectives, including strengthening the management of Bodo news portals by providing proper supervision to journalists, imparting essential ethical guidelines for news dissemination, and expanding the outreach of Bodo news portals.
To commence the ceremony, Dr. Jagen Boro, the principal of Tamulpur College, lit a sacred lamp and delivered an inspiring speech.
Additionally, Pritam Brahma Chaudhary, former President of the Kokrajhar District Press Club, graced the event as a guest of honor.
In his speech, he emphasized the importance of journalism, ethical practices within the field, effective management of news portals, and their significant role in societal development.
Khanindra Basumatary, the General Secretary of ABSU, also delivered a compelling speech highlighting the significance of Bodo news portals and journalists, motivating them to work towards the betterment of society.
