Chirang: Assam Governor Gulab Chand Kataria visited the district of Chirang on June 7, 2023, to review the progress of various government developmental schemes. The Governor’s visit aimed to assess the implementation of flagship projects by the central and state governments and provide valuable suggestions for their successful completion.
Conducting a comprehensive review, Governor Kataria held a meeting at the DC’s office in Chirang, which saw the participation of officials, including the Deputy Commissioner, Superintendent of Police, Heads of Security Agencies, and all the Heads of the Departments in the district. The meeting served as a platform to evaluate the current status of the developmental schemes and discuss strategies to ensure their timely and efficient execution.
Expressing his satisfaction with the overall progress made by the Chirang district, Governor Kataria commended the efforts to implement the various schemes. He emphasized the importance of adhering to the guidelines and maintaining high-quality standards to achieve the desired outcomes within the specified timelines.
In addition to the developmental schemes, Governor Kataria also had discussions with the Superintendent of Police, Chirang, and the Head of the Security Forces regarding law and order in the district.
During his visit, Governor Kataria emphasized the need for plantation activities within the premises of government offices and institutions, promoting environmental conservation and greenery.
