The Assam government has launched the Samarth eGov portal, aimed at simplifying the admission process for undergraduate studies in the state. Inaugurated on June 14 by Education Minister Ranoj Pegu in the presence of Education Adviser Dr. Nani Gopal Mahanta, the user-friendly portal allows students to submit their applications and track their admission status online.
The Assam State Higher Education admission portal, introduced through the Samarth eGov initiative, has the objective of streamlining the admission procedures for the State Universities and Government-aided colleges in Assam. This portal seeks to improve transparency while reducing the occurrence of delays and errors that can be associated with manual admission processes.
This initiative marks a positive step for higher education in Assam, promoting accessibility, efficiency, and transparency.
Samarth eGov, also known as the “Society for Advancement of Multiple Activities and Rehabilitation through Technology and Humanity,” has been at the forefront of implementing innovative solutions in the education sector.
