Udalguri: The Government of BTR has embarked on a mission to cultivate Soyabean plants across 10,000 hectares of farmland within the region for three years. This initiative aims to diversify the agriculture sector and increase farmers’ income in BTR.
To mark this significant step, BTR CEM Pramod Boro graced the inaugural ceremony for Soyabean cultivation and the ceremonial distribution of Soyabean seeds at Pathakpur village, Mazbat, Udalguri.
The event also saw the presence of esteemed guests, including EM Dr. Nilut Swargiary and Shri Ghanashyam Das, along with senior officials from the Agriculture Department of BTC. The gathering also included progressive farmers and dignitaries from Udalguri.
