In a recent visit to the Ashokjhar Primary and Upper Primary School in Kalinganagar, Jajpur District, Odisha, BTR CEM Pramod Boro had the opportunity to explore Tata Steel Foundation’s Education Signature Programme and ASPIRE.
The programme aims to enhance the quality of education and create a model of Universalisation of Elementary Education within the Right to Education framework that is replicable and scalable.
During his visit, BTR CEM Pramod Boro interacted with the school’s children, teachers, community leaders, and the sarpanch at Bandhagan GP Office. He appreciated the commendable work done by the Tata Steel CSR team, led by Smt. Smita Agarwal, which has made a significant impact on the education sector in the region.
CEM Pramod Boro gained valuable insights during his visit and is now planning to implement similar programmes in BTR to enhance the quality of education.
He was accompanied by EMs Ranjit Basumatary, Sanjit Tanti, Former MLA and Chairman of Bodoland School Adoption Programme Shri Kamalshing Narzary, Director of Education Shri Jagdish P Brahma, Dr. Sunil Kaul, and others during the visit.
