Kokrajhar: Assam Education Minister Ranoj Pegu was present at the Silver Jubilee Celebration and 7th Bodofa Upendra Nath Brahma Memorial Day of Bodofa UN Brahma College in Kokrajhar today.
Minister Pegu laid the foundation stone for the construction of a library building and the improvement of the second-floor roofing of the college premises, which will undoubtedly contribute to the progress of this historic educational institution.
The event also witnessed the laying of the foundation stone for the construction of a statue of Bodofa UN Brahma, further honoring his significant contributions to society.
The event was graced by BTR CEM Pramod Boro, Cabinet Minister UG Brahma, EMs Arup Kr Dey, Reo Reoa Narzihary, and other esteemed guests.
Minister Pegu congratulated all the students, teachers, and faculty of the college on this occasion.
He expressed his happiness in participating in the Silver Jubilee Celebration of Bodofa Upendra Nath Brahma College at Dotma in Kokrajhar.
The college has been a historical and educational institute for the last 25 years. The construction works laid during the event will help the college in its progress.
The minister also visited the museum inside the residence where he saw some old pictures of the leader. He stated that Bodofa’s ideals should inspire everyone to work harder for society.
