Kokrajhar:BTR Government launches the “Gyan Swrang Bithangkhi” scheme to support financially-challenged meritorious students.
On April 26, the BTR Government distributed Rs 5000 cheques each to 9200 beneficiaries across various parts of the region under this flagship initiative.
The aim of this scheme is to promote education and to ensure that no student is deprived of education due to financial constraints.
The programme is a commendable effort by the BTR Govt, led by CEM Pramod Boro, to promote education and to ensure that financially challenged students have equal access to quality education.
BTR Govt officials, including EMs & MCLAs, personally led the sub-divisional wise ceremonial distribution programme to distribute cheques to the beneficiaries.
This first-of-its-kind initiative in BTR will bring positive changes to the lives of many students, and the BTR Government is committed to taking further steps towards achieving this goal.
