The 10th Baokhungri Festival 2023 kicked off with great enthusiasm and fervor on Monday, April 12, at Baokhungri Hills, Hainaguri, Kokrajhar.
The festival is being organized by the BTR Government and aims to promote the diverse cultural heritage of the region.
The inaugural event was graced by the presence of several eminent dignitaries, including BTR CEM Pramod Boro, Cabinet Minister Urkhao Gwra Brahma, BTCLA Speaker Kati Ram Baro, MLA Lawrence Islary, and EMs Dharma Narayan Das, Daobaisa Boro Official, Reo Reoa Narzihary, Ranendra Narzary, Dr. Nilut Swargiary Official, MCLAs, and others.
CEM Pramod Boro inaugurated the main gate of the festival, which marks the beginning of a series of cultural and traditional events.
