Dec 12, 2022: The Assam government has decided to modernise 21 police stations across the state.
Three police stations in the districts of Nalbari, Darrang, and Morigaon have been chosen for upgrades.
Two police stations will be renovated in Kamrup, Cachar and Hojai districts.
On the other hand, police station in each of the districts of Bongaigaon, Sonitpur, Nagaon Majuli, Hailakandi, and South Salmara will be renovated.
The Principal Secretary of the Home Department issued this order.
