KOKRAJHAR: The Government of the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) is hosting the 2nd Lit Fest at the Bodofa Cultural Complex in the tranquil valley of the Gaurang River in Kokrajhar on the 6, 7 and 8 of January 2023. The Organizing Committee of the festival chose the theme “Literature for Peace & Harmony” with a noble purpose.
This festival intends to celebrate the various aspects of the region’s unique and profoundly captivating literature in the field of literature. The selected representatives and invited speakers will be provided their travel expenses, accommodation and food along with mementoes.
The Lit Fest will witness the participation of eminent poets and writers from different parts of the country in its scheduled programming. Poems, summaries of books and short stories selected for the festival will be published in a book. Besides poets and authors, artists, musicians, etc. will also be encouraged to demonstrate their talents during the festival.
