Kokrajhar: BTR CEM Pramod Boro, today marked a significant milestone by laying the foundation stone for a Community Training Centre on Mushroom Farming.
This initiative is aimed at providing livelihood and entrepreneurial opportunities to the residents of backward areas in BTR and adjoining regions of Assam.
The Community Training Centre, which is being sponsored by the North Eastern Council (NEC) under the Government of India, is expected to provide various training programs and resources to the local communities in mushroom farming and entrepreneurship development.
This initiative is intended to create sustainable employment opportunities for the people in the region and ultimately enhance the economic growth of the area.
During the program, EM Reo Reoa Narzihary, MCLA Sajal Kumar Singha, MCLA, BTC, and Prof. Laishram Ladu Singh, the Vice Chancellor of Bodoland University, were present to support the initiative.
