March 10, 2023:
Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur launched the ‘Khelo India Dus ka Dum’ event today at the JLN stadium in New Delhi .
The tournament kicked off simultaneously in over 50 cities of the country.
Nearly 15,000 athletes are participating in the tournament across 50 cities located in 26 states of India.
The tournament will take place from March 10th to March 31st and will feature 10 different sports in which the players will compete.
A total of Rs 1 crore has been sanctioned by the Government of India for the event.
BTR CEM Pramod Boro was present at SAI, Kokrajhar today at the Women’s Wushu Championship organized by the Assam Wushu Association as a part the Khelo India Dus ka Dum Event Tournament to celebrate International Women’s Day.
