Kokrajhar: BTR CEM Pramod Boro presided over a review meeting with all officers and technical staff from the Department of Sericulture on February 8 at the Bodoland Silk Park in Kokrajhar.
The Bodoland Silk Mission was launched by the BTR government to transform BTR’s traditional silk weaving sector into a viable and vibrant industry.
During the meeting, the progress of various initiatives undertaken to boost silk production and weaving in BTR was reviewed.
The meeting was attended by EM Shri Daobaisa Boro, Principal Secretary Shri Anurag Goel, IAS, and officials of the Department of Sericulture.
