Today, a significant stride was made towards advancing education in Assam by implementing the ambitious ‘Skilled Assam’ initiative.
This initiative fosters fundamental literacy and numeracy skills among pre-primary and primary students.
A momentous occasion occurred as a vehicle carrying 60 lakh books and teaching materials was ceremoniously flagged off.
These educational resources have been meticulously crafted in Assamese, Bangla, Bodo, Manipuri, Garo, Maa, and English languages, addressing the diverse linguistic requirements of the region.
The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Sridevananda Hazarika, President of the Assam State Textbook Formation and Publishing Corporation Limited, and other officials.
