Kokrajhar: In a recent incident on May 15, a hit and run incident occurred in Kokrajhar town resulting in the serious injury of at least four individuals, two of whom were police officers.
According to reports, the incident took place when a Swift Dzire Car with the registration number AS 16J 4655 crashed into a scooty near Science College. The car then proceeded to collide with another motorcycle before fleeing the scene at high speed.
Tragically, two of the victims are in critical condition, adding to the gravity of the situation.
The injured parties have been identified as Kalpana Narzary, Maya Nath, Gwmsar Basumatary, and Uttara Brahma.
Notably, Kalpana Narzary and Maya Nath are police constables, highlighting the severity of the incident.
The injured individuals were taken to the nearest hospital for immediate attention. Meanwhile, the driver, as well as the car, were apprehended by the police.
