Kokrajhar:The Indo-Bhutan Market Linkage is a remarkable development in the trade relations between India and Bhutan.
In recent times, there has been a significant emphasis on the promotion of One District One Product (ODOP) by the Prime Minister of India. As part of this initiative, a consignment of 30 kgs of Oyster Mushroom was recently exported from Jiban Trishna Farmer Unit in Kokrajhar, Assam to Gelephu in Bhutan.
The consignment was flagged off by Varnali Deka, DC of Kokrajhar, in association with the Department of Agriculture, PD-ATMA, APART, and the District Administration of Kokrajhar.
The successful export of mushroom from Kokrajhar to Bhutan marks a significant milestone in the Indo-Bhutan Market Linkage.
