Uttara Gogoi, hailing from Assam, demonstrated remarkable prowess as she secured a silver medal in the highly competitive Khelo India University Games held in Noida today. Representing Delhi University, Uttara’s exceptional performance in the 50m butterfly event earned her the coveted silver medal, with an impressive time of 29.62 seconds.
Notably, Sristi Upadhaya from Jadavpur University emerged victorious, clinching the gold medal with a remarkable time of 29.42 seconds, while Priyanga Pugazharasu from the esteemed University of Madras achieved the bronze medal, clocking in at 31.46 seconds.
