Kokrajhar is all set to host the prestigious Durand Cup 132nd edition on August 6, 2023. As preparations are underway, Kokrajhar recently inaugurated a Control Room in anticipation of the event.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of esteemed guests, including BTR executive member for Sports and Youth Affairs, Daobaisa Boro, and the secretary of Assam Football Association, Dr Sangrang Brahma, along with other notable officials.
Kokrajhar has been selected as one of the four cities to host the Durand Cup in 2023.
A total of 25 teams will participate in the tournament, with the teams divided into five groups consisting of five teams each.
