On June 26, a significant review meeting concerning the water transport system in Kokrajhar took place at the BTC Secretariate, chaired by BTR CEM Pramod Boro.
The primary focus of the meeting was to thoroughly discuss the city’s water flow system, with particular emphasis on potential sudden flooding.
The meeting also deliberated on effective measures to prevent future water flow issues.
The meeting witnessed the presence of several key figures, including EMs Wilson Hasda, Ranendra Narzary, and Reo Reoa Narzihary; MCLAs Madhab Chetry and Sajal Kumar Singha, MCLA, BTC; KMB Chairperson Smt. Pratibha Brahma; officials from Kokrajhar Development Authority (KMDA) and Kokrajhar Municipal Board (KMB); as well as technical experts from CIT, Kokrajhar, and BB Engineering College.
