Gossaigaon: A significant event unfolded in Burachara, Gossaigaon, on June 19, as the “Swrang Handloom Enterprise” was inaugurated.
The ceremony was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Executive Members Reo Reoa Narzihary, Shri Dhananjay Basumatary, Govt. of BTR, and Shri Jiran Basumatary, MLA of 28 No. Gossaigaon LAC.
The primary aim of the Swrang Handloom Enterprise is to empower and uplift local weavers by providing them with a platform to showcase their exceptional skills and craftsmanship.
This enterprise is dedicated to promoting indigenous garments and driving the growth of the handloom industry in the region.
