The Department of Personnel, Government of Assam, has announced the appointment of IAS Officer Anurag Goel as Assam’s new Chief Electoral Officer (CEO).
A recently issued official notification from the department, dated June 13, confirms that Anurag Goel will take over the position from Nitin Khade.
The CEO plays a vital role in overseeing the electoral process to ensure the fair and unbiased conduct of elections within the state.
