On the occasion of Bodofa Upendra Nath Brahma’s birth anniversary, the people came together to celebrate the legacy of the “Father of Bodo” at Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra in Guwahati.
Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, graced the occasion with his inspiring words, encouraging citizens to honor Bodofa’s memory and continue his legacy of education.
The event marked the celebration of Student’s Day, a day dedicated to the improvement of education in BTR.
The Assam Chief Minister emphasized the importance of education in the growth and development of the youth of BTR. He announced several initiatives to uplift the education system and empower students in the region.
The celebration was attended by eminent dignitaries, including BTR CEM Pramod Boro, Cabinet Ministers Dr. Ranoj Pegu and Smt. Ajanta Neog, who showed their support and appreciation for the event.
The gathering also saw the presence of many meritorious students and guests who were felicitated for their outstanding achievements in the field of education.
Bodofa Upendra Nath Brahma’s birth anniversary was also celebrated in Thulungapuri, Dotma, where the forest man of India Jadav Payeng paid tribute to him. Cabinet Minister Urkhao Gwra Brahma, ABSU President Dipen Boro, EMs of BTC, and other distinguished guests paid floral tribute to Bodofa UN Brahma.
The celebration of Students Day was a fitting tribute to his memory and a step towards realizing his dream of a better and brighter future for the youth of BTR.
