Assam’s Chief Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, held a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi to discuss the prevailing flood situation in the state.
During the meeting, CM Sarma provided the Prime Minister with an overview of the current flood conditions in Assam and outlined the various measures implemented by the state government to provide relief and support to those affected by the floods.
Prime Minister Modi commended CM Sarma for his proactive approach in managing the crisis and pledged to extend all possible assistance to the state government.
Additionally, CM Sarma briefed the Prime Minister on the ongoing development initiatives undertaken by the state.
Following the meeting, taking to Twitter, the Chief Minister wrote, “I had the privilege of seeking blessings of respected Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji in Delhi.”
“Assam’s well-being remains the top priority for Hon’ble PM. I apprised him of our developmental journey and received his kind guidance on the way forward.”
