In a devastating incident that unfolded on Thursday morning in Simlaguri, as two siblings, aged 14 and 5, tragically drowned in a pond near their home in Simlaguri village.
The victims have been identified as Fwilao Narzary (14) and Kunal Narzary (5), sons of Deepak Narzary and Joymiti Narzary from Dotma Simlaguri.
The incident unfolded when the siblings were discovered submerged in the nearby pond.
According to reports, the lifeless bodies of the siblings were discovered submerged in the pond.
