The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of the Durand Cup football tournament has announced exciting updates for its 132nd edition. The tournament is scheduled from August 3rd to September 3rd, 2023, and will feature two new host cities: Shillong and Kokrajhar.
Last year’s edition, the 131st, witnessed an intense final match between Bengaluru FC and Mumbai City FC at Kolkata’s Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan (VYBK). Bengaluru FC emerged as the champions with a thrilling 2-1 victory, showcasing their exceptional skills and determination.
Adding to the excitement, this year’s tournament will witness the participation of local clubs, including Shillong Lajong football club, among others.
