November 4, 2022, Kohima: Irene Dkhar from Meghalaya won the title of Miss Northeast 2022 during a glamorous event held at the Capital Cultural Hall in Kohima on Thursday.
Dkhar was crowned the winner out of 14 participants from all eight Northeast states, with the winner receiving a cash prize of Rs 1.5 lakh along with gift hamper sponsored by Floyd Hyundai and Vuto Hyundai.
Assam’s Eshanee Hatimuria as the first runner-up received Rs. 1 lakh and Arunachal Pradesh’s Dyna Jomo as the second runner-up received Rs 70,000.
The subtitle winners each received INR 20,000 with gift hampers.
Dkhar was named Miss Perfect Ten while Hatimuria was named Miss Photogenic and Miss Talent and Jomo was named Miss Multimedia. Lika Chophy from Nagaland was named Queen of Hearts while Manasha Devi Sapam from Manipur was named Miss Beautiful Skin.
This event was organised by the Northeast Beauty Pageant Organization and presented by the Beauty and Aesthetics Society of Nagaland (BASN) in collaboration with the Government of Nagaland.
The judges were the famous dentist Dr. Sagar J Abhichandani (a celebrity dentist), Nise Meruno (international artist), Bambi Kevichusa (fashion designer), Ketholeno Kense Vihienuo (supermodel), Theyiesinuo Keditsu (educationist and writer).
