As per reports, the fire broke out was reported from Morigaon’s Jagiroad area on Wednesday night. The cause of the fire was said to be LGP cylinder explosions.
Several Shops worth lakhs were gutted in the fire resulting in complete destruction. There has been no official report on the total damage so far.
At least six fire tenders were pressed into service to control the situation. No casualties or injuries were reported.
Further investigation of the fire is being assessed.
