The Central Institute of Technology Kokrajhar recently celebrated the successful completion of the “Subungthi Sibinai” program, a collaborative initiative with NIELIT Guwahati. The third batch of this program concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony held at the institute’s Seminar Hall.
The six-month free computer training program aimed to empower local youths by equipping them with essential skills in computational technologies. In the current era of digitization, this initiative plays a crucial role in making participants job-ready and bridging the digital divide in the community.
The certificate distribution ceremony was attended by esteemed individuals, including EM Wilson Hasda, Prof. Hemanta Kumar Kalita (Director of CIT Kokrajhar), and Shri JD Herembeswar Basumatary (Dean of Humanities & Social Science at CIT Kokrajhar). Distinguished guests, representatives from NIELIT, professors, and officials from CIT were also present to express their support for this noble cause.
