Dec 24, 2024: Assam-born swimmer Astha Choudhury won the gold medal in the women’s 100m butterfly event, clocked 1 minute 03.83 seconds in the final at the National Open Championship in Hyderabad, Telangana.
She is followed by Apeksha Fernandes (1.05.78) and Assam’s Jahnabi Kashyap (1.06.61).
The championship was organized by the Swimming Federation of India (SFI) from 20 -24 December.
